1 Day in Negombo

You arrive in Sri Lanka to experience the island in all its enchanted beauty and your first stop will be Negombo where you would enjoy the sun and sand. With many water sports available in the area, you can enjoy a bit of diving as well. There is a small city tour which will take you around the city

Arrive at Colombo International Airport Here, you will be met by a designated chauffer guide from Lakpura. After the formalities at the airport you will be escorted to your air-conditioned vehicle and proceed to Negombo and check in to the hotel and relax. (Travel Time: 20 to 30 mins)

City Tour in Negombo

Enjoy the sun on the sandy beaches of Negombo on the Western Coast of Sri Lanka. Watch the flourishing fish industry, which is a centuries-old tradition. Ride an adrenaline high with some fun water sports. Enjoy the corals and underwater life while diving. See the 50-year-old ship-wreck just off the coast, where many varieties of fish make their home.

3 Days in Dambulla

Travelling to the centre of the cultural centre, there are many things that you can see and explore. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, and also you can enjoy a Sigiriya Village Tour to experience their lifestyle. You will enjoy a thrilling safari ride through the Minneriya National Park known for its elephants.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is the home for young Elephants who have been displaced or lost from their natural habitat, located at Pinnawala village in Sabaragamuwa province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is the best place for an up close and personal experience with the world’s largest land mammals! Today with 70 elephants herein, Pinnawela has become the home to the largest captive group of elephants in the world.

Dambulla Cave Temple

Enter the historic caves of the Golden Temple of Dambulla, dating back to the 1st century BC. View the ancient murals depicting the life story of Lord Gautama Buddha. Look at the hundreds of figurines of Buddha and other deities scattered throughout the five main caves. Visit the Cave of the Divine King, Cave of the Great King and the Great New Monastery. See the giant golden Buddha Statue just a little distance outside the cave complex.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Climb the 5th century AD rock fortress, Sigiriya, where the King Kasyapa ruled. Walk through the entrance framed by the paws of a lion that is quite appropriate for its name, ‘ the Lion Rock’. View the beautiful unfading murals that brought Sigiriya its fame. Climb the steep staircase to see the terraced gardens and still-working cisterns. Walk through the tunnels leading to the palace as you get a feel for times long past.

Sigiriya Village Tour

Get a chance to go on an oxen cart ride and experience the world from the view of a village farmer. Have a relaxing catamaran safari through a calm lake. Walk through the golden fields ripe with their harvest of paddy. Watch an enjoyable traditional cooking demonstration that teaches you the basics of Sri Lankan cuisine. Delight your taste buds with a home cooked lunch; made over a wood-fire and served on fragrant lotus leaves placed over woven trays. Enjoy the life of a Sri Lankan villager, just this day.

Minneriya National Park

This three-hour safari takes you on a ride through the Minneriya National Park. Enjoy the sight of over 150 elephants congregating in one place during the famous Great Elephant Gathering, which happens in the dry season between May to October. In addition to elephants, get a chance to also see many mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians in the scrublands, forests and other areas.

2 Days in Kandy

When in Kandy which is also known as Maha Nuwara, you will first visit a spice garden where they teach you about our local spices and herbs. Then we visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which is one of the most venerated temples in the island.  Then you can enjoy a leisurely stroll at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Spice Garden

Euphoria Spice and Herbal is located 12 km away from Matale (The spice capital of Sri Lanka). Enriched with herbs, spice groves and plants with fragrant greenery shading from the tropical trees that enlightens the unique aroma of each spice and herb. We give the opportunity for our visitors to explore and gain knowledge on Sri Lankan spices, herbs and the benefits of Ayurveda. The tropical climate in which our plants and herbs are grown helps them preserve its ancient originality. The educational tour around the garden, which we call “The Spice Tour”, let the visitors feel the sensation of the Sri Lankan spices and herbs which is demonstrated in different foreign languages to suit our customer need.

Temple of the Tooth Relic

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Walk through the beautifully embellished passageways and elaborately painted halls, done in red, cream and black. Lounge against delicately carved pillars and get amazed by the beautiful golden statues. Get an unforgettable experience of history and art.

Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya

Visit the famous Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, which were formed in the early 19th century. Walk through the vast area containing over 4000 species of plants. Enjoy the learning more about the orchids, spices and medicinal plants. Wander down avenues shaded by large and rare trees, or bordered by flowering plants. Enjoy seeing the cannonball tree, walking over the wobbly suspension bridge and through the short hedge mazes or even climbing the twisty trees that make wonderful jungle gyms.

乌桑戈达是一个奇特的海岸地区，因为这里几乎没有树木。其蛇纹岩中含有有毒的重金属。只有特定的矮小植物才能适应这种土壤。但根据《罗摩衍那》的传说，乌桑戈达的“光秃秃”还有另外两种解释。据说，哈努曼神在遇见悉多女神后，激怒了强大的罗波那王及其罗刹大军。结果，罗刹点燃了哈努曼的尾巴。哈努曼随后用燃烧的尾巴焚烧了罗波那王的部分领土。据说，乌桑戈达就是其中一片被烧毁的区域。此外，《罗摩衍那》的传说还提到，在哈努曼摧毁这片着陆点之前，乌桑戈达高原曾是罗波那王的丹杜莫纳拉桃形战车的机场。

鲁马萨拉

鲁马萨拉山位于加勒以东3公里处，山顶矗立着一座风景如画的白色佛教佛塔，是乌努瓦图纳海滩的地标。鲁马萨拉岩是斯里兰卡五处据信源自德罗纳吉里山的岩石之一。据说，哈努曼为了救治身负重伤、急需这种药草恢复生命的拉克什曼和罗摩，将德罗纳吉里山的岩石带回兰卡岛，并用山上的桑吉瓦尼草药进行治疗。据说，悉多在兰卡岛居住期间也曾在此居住。

加勒古城
