Leaf Storm

When the banana company swept through this Colombian town, it transformed everything—and when it left, decay set in. Rain-soaked and bitter, the townspeople have watched their world deteriorate, nursing grudges that have festered for years. A foreign doctor becomes the target of their collective scorn, and when he dies, few mourn his passing. Yet the Colonel, bound by an ancient promise, refuses to abandon the dead man and must lead his family through the town's hostility to fulfill this final obligation.
