This ride begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your hotel in Kandy. You’ll be transferred 3km before Elkaduwa to begin your journey on a quiet main road. From there, the route takes a steep off-road climb through lush tea plantations, ending near the Elkaduwa Tea Factory. Riders may opt to visit Sembuwatta Lake (entrance ticket required). The trail then ascends sharply toward the Campbell’s Lane Forest Reserve, crossing dense greenery before reaching Madulkele. After some thrilling downhill sections, the ride concludes at Panvila, where a vehicle will be ready to transport guests back to Kandy. The total net riding distance is around 28–30km, and due to the high difficulty level, this tour is recommended for seasoned mountain biking enthusiasts only.
