Snow

In 1992, poet and political exile Ka returns to Turkey on a journalistic assignment to investigate reports of suicides among young women in the remote border city of Kars. As heavy snow isolates the town and cuts off all routes in and out, Ka finds himself caught between his growing feelings for a local woman named Ipek and the rising tensions of Islamist politics threatening to transform the city.
